City Clerk Website - How to Vote

The Historic Cultural North Neighborhood Council represents Chinatown, El Pueblo, Solano Canyon, and Victor Heights in the City of Los Angeles. On May 4, 2023, all 17 board seats will be on the ballot for election. Residents, business owners, employees, property owners, and members of community organizations or nonprofits are eligible to vote!

Voting is via Vote-By-Mail ballot or in person on Election Day.

How to Vote: Vote-By-Mail!

• The deadline to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot was 11:59 p.m. on April 15, 2023.
• If you have a Vote-By-Mail ballot, you can mail it (must be postmarked by May 4, 2023) or drop it off at the polling location on Election Day.

How to Vote: In Person on Election Day!

• When: Thursday, May 4, 2023, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• Where: Alpine Recreation Center, 817 Yale St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
• For in-person voting, there is no pre-registration. Register at the polling place on Election Day.
• Documentation is required to establish eligibility to vote. For more information on acceptable forms of documentation, see the 2023 Neighborhood Council Elections Documentation Guide.

Meet the Candidates at HCNNC’s monthly board meeting on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Chinatown Branch Library at 639 N Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Candidates will be given time to provide a short presentation to introduce themselves at the meeting.
