The governing board of HCNNC consists of seventeen (17) elected representatives: five (5) from Chinatown, three (3) from El Pueblo, three (3) from Solano Canyon, three (3) from Victor Heights, and three (3) at-large representatives from any of the four neighborhoods. The boundaries of the neighborhoods are defined in HCNNC’s bylaws, as shown in our boundary map.

Who can run to represent their neighborhood?   If you are 16 years old or older, and you are a stakeholder — you live, work, rent or own property, own a business, attend school, worship, volunteer, or participate in an organization that meets in and/or serves that neighborhood — you are eligible to serve on the board. If you are 14 to 17 years old, you are eligible to serve on the board as a Youth Representative. The next election will be in 2027.
